If @Ofcom is going to regulate online harms, it needs to be able to understand what is causing harm. That means it must be able to demand access to how technology products are being used by its users. But, the online harms centre proposal mustn’t hold up the Online Harms Bill, which is already very delayed. And, as we’ve been arguing via the @InstituteofAI, artificially intelligence defence systems need to be developed within a strong ethical framework.
